Lily Freda Karlin is a freelance writer and copywriter with expertise in entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, education, social justice, mental health, technology and digital video. After graduating cum laude with an English degree from Harvard in 2013, Lily worked on staff at the Huffington Post — first covering entertainment and gender on the editorial side, and then writing, directing and acting in comedy shorts for the video team. As a freelancer, she has published work on sites including the New Yorker, and contributed regular content to Wetpaint and Security Baron. Lily has social media experience and writes marketing materials for the online programs at universities including NYU, USC, American and Syracuse through ed tech company 2U, Inc. Her work has been mentioned by Jezebel, Bust, Bustle, Slant and Paste Magazine.
